ADAC GT Masters 2018: Spielberg
While some are looking forward to the next weekend (June 08 – 10, 2018) of the ADAC GT Masters 2018, the enthusiasm of the other drivers of YACO Racing is rather small. The Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, offers both advantages and disadvantages for the riders of the team from Plauen.
Philip Geipel and Rahel Frey: Respect for the most Audi unfriendly course of the season
Many long straights, numerous height differences – the Red Bull Ring has never been known to be an easy track for Audi drivers in the League of Super Sports Cars. Rahel Frey and Philip Geipel know that very well. In the past few years, they have always managed to score points here, but the way there was never a breeze. "We have to try to be in the lead in qualifying. With a good starting position in midfield, we have optimal conditions for a place in the points", says Philip Geipel confidently. Rahel Frey adds: "And of course we will be waiting for mistakes of our competitors. Each carelessness of others is our chance to overtake. We are a team never to be underestimated!"
Simon Reicher: Consistently to the goal
For the newest member of YACO Racing, the friendly Austrian Simon Reicher, the Red Bull Ring is an absolute highlight in the racing calendar of the ADAC TCR Germany. He himself says about the track: "My grandparents' house is only a stone's throw away from the track. Therefore, I know the Red Bull Ring very well and I am really looking forward to driving here. My ultimate goal is to finally turn my previous good performances into points!"
As an official sponsor, the bluechemGROUP wishes the team YACO Racing the maximum success!
